Bravo rider turns firefighter.... June 08

In 2007 Bravo Condoms signed Superbike pro Hawk Mazzotta as the companies first professional athlete of now 38 total. Hawk truly embodies every aspect of true professional athlete.... natural talent, great personality, dedication and humbleness. Over his 10+ year career we had the pleasure of watching Hawk climb through the ranks of the Road racing ladder achieving what many of us simply dream of in our lifetime. Drop the Mazzotta name in the AMA pro ranks and you will have any pro crack a smile and tell you a story or two about the 'Cowboy Kid'. 

The beginning of 2010 Mazzotta decided to hang up his leathers and shelve his professional racing career to embark on a new chapter in his life. Today, June 8th 2010, Hawk will graduate the MPC Fire Academy with 20 other brothers of the dedicated code. He has committed  the past 6 months of his life to becoming the best he can be in regards to saving lives and fighting the fires that claim many peoples lives each year in the United States. Mazzotta's grandfather, Chief Charles White (r.i.p.), spent the majority of his life as a fire Chief/Captain of several different fire stations in the southern California area. Mazzotta states.... "nothing will replace the feeling of pushing a machine at 201mph on the high banks of Daytona.... but when i got the taste of fire fighting and an actual 'live burn', I must say it got my heart pounding! I also love the fact that I can truly dedicate my life to something that can/will help others or even save their lives. Life is about giving and this I feel is a very special and radical way for me to give to the greater good in life. Thank you to all of my friends and family for supporting me through my racing career and also to my many sponsors that helped me achieve such an amazing dream.... I love you all and look forward to this next chapter in my life.... rock n' roll!!

We could not be more proud of our man Hawk, he truly is one of the best young men we have ever had the honor of supporting and working with. We love you Hawker.... keep on being a hero brother!!
